Overview
CSU Channel Islands (CI) offers bachelor degree completion programs on the Santa Barbara City College Campus. These programs offer an accelerated schedule and guaranteed course registration whereby students can obtain their undergraduate degree from CI in two years. These programs have been shown to improve student retention and student satisfaction. Classes meet on the SBCC campus and CI instructors teach all courses. Student advising is held on the SBCC campus and conducted by CI staff.
Programs Offered

BA in Psychology
BS in Business

Admissions for Domestic Students
California State University Transfer Requirements:
GE certification
Completion of the following lower-division classes with grade of C or better:
Oral communication
Written communication
Critical thinking
College level mathematics
Completion of 60 transferable semester units* or 100 transferable quarter units
GPA of 2.0 or better (2.4 GPA or better required for California nonresidents)
*60 units is the minimum transfer requirement. However, students will need to earn a minimum of 70 lower division units to complete the degree.
Apply to the BA in Psychology Degree Completion Program:
The following prerequistes besides the California State University Transfer Requirements must be met in order to be accepted into the BA in Psychology program:
Completion of following three lower division courses with grades of C or better:
PSY 100 Introduction to Psychology
PSY 202 Statistics
PSY 213 Developmental
Completion of a minimum of 60 transferable semester units*
*Students must earn a minimum of 70 lower division units to complete the degree.
To apply to the program first you must apply through CSU Mentor at http://www.csumentor.edu/.
After submitting your application through CSU Mentor, you must apply to the program by submitting all materials listed in our BA in Psychology Application Checklist (PDF, 138.6 KB) to Extended University.
Apply to the BS in Business Completion Program:
To apply to the BS in Business Completion Program program first you must apply through CSU Mentor at http://www.csumentor.edu/
After submitting your application through CSU Mentor, you must apply to the program by submitting all materials listed in our BS in Business Application Checklist (PDF, 137.8 KB) to Extended University.

Fees
BA in Psychology Degree Completion
$375/unit (CA residents and non-residents)
40-41 units/credits
Total program cost: $15,375*
*Program fees based on 41 units and subject to change. Fees do not include cost of textbooks, housing, or transportation
BS in Business Degree Completion
$375/unit (CA residents and non-residents)
50 units/credits
Total program cost: $18,750*
*Program fees based on 50 units and subject to change. Fees do not include cost of textbooks, housing, or transportation.

For domestic students:

For International students:
Deadline to apply for fall 2012 is March 30, 2012*
