Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Offered in Thousand Oaks and Santa Barbara, CI’s MBA program is designed to develop business leaders with the capacity to work effectively in an increasingly multicultural and global environment. Key elements include small classes, evening and/or weekend courses, online prerequisites, focus on international business and entrepreneurial innovation, short-term study abroad option, and real-world orientation.
MS Biotechnology & Bioinformatics
The MS Biotechnology & Bioinformatics degree provides students with analytical, business, and managerial skills along with sophisticated expertise in biotechnology and computational sciences for a diverse set of vocations. Qualified graduates will be able to engage in research, development, and management in biotechnology, work in the pharmaceutical industry, conduct scientific research, or enter into the teaching or consulting profession.
MS Biotechnology/MBA Dual Degree
The Master of Science in Biotechnology and Master of Business Administration dual degree is an innovative and award-winning interdisciplinary program that blends key components of biological sciences and business at the graduate level. Recognizing the importance of combining biotechnology and business in a dual degree, our biology and business/economics areas present a forward-looking and progressive program geared for those intending to develop careers in the biotechnology industry.
MS Computer Science
The MS Computer Science degree offers cutting-edge instruction to prepare students for careers in high-tech, computer and internet driven industries, businesses, educational systems, military, local and federal government, where interdisciplinary, dynamic and innovative professionals trained in latest technologies are increasingly sought. Stressing interdisciplinary applications, the degree emphasizes breadth of knowledge in computer science and mathematics.
MS Mathematics
The MS Mathematics degree is designed to address a global demand for people with advanced mathematical, computational, and computer skills throughout industry, high-tech, and educational systems. The program stresses interdisciplinary applications such as Actuarial Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Cryptography, Image Recognition, Mathematics Education, and Security. The program is application oriented and broad in scope, so students can choose an emphasis of their interest.
MA Education
The Master of Arts in Education provides advanced preparation for educational professionals. CI’s School of Education offers three specializations: Educational Leadership, Special Education, and Curriculum & Instruction.
