On Campus Transportation and Parking

Parking on campus is by permit only and is enforced 24/7. Those individuals wishing to park on campus must pay for a parking permit. For information on parking, visit CSU Channel Islands Parking and Transportation website at http://www.csuci.edu/publicsafety/parking/index.htm.

Option A for Parking on Campus:

Purchase a daily permit for $6. Permit dispensers are located in Lots A1, A2, A3, and A4. Please see Campus Map (PDF) for locations of parking lots and dispensers. The dispensers accept Visa, Mastercard, coins, $1, $5, or $10 bills. Daily permits purchased through the dispenser are only valid on the day of purchase.

Option B for Parking On Campus:

Purchase a semester permit for $190. Note, that a spring semester permit encompasses both the winter and spring OLLI sessions. Receive a prorated refund if permit is returned within 90 days of the start of the official University semester. Refunds are prorated accordingly:

  • Within 30 days of the start of the University semester, 75% refund
  • Within 60 days of the start of the University semester, 50% refund
  • Within 90 days of the start of the University semester, 25% refund with no refunds available after 90 days

OLLI On Campus Courtesy Shuttle

An OLLI courtesy shuttle is available to members taking classes on campus. The shuttle will bring members to/from Broome Library and the on-campus bus stop. 

VCTC Bus System to Campus

You may also park for FREE at the Metrolink station in Camarillo, or several locations in Oxnard, and take the VCTC bus to campus. For the most current schedule and pricing details, please check the VCTC website at www.goventura.org.

The VCTC bus runs every half an hour. Here is a map of the VCTC bus drop-off location on the CSUCI campus: Campus Bus Map (PDF, 128 KB).
