The Master of Healthcare Administration will prepare students for careers in the management of healthcare resources, with a particular emphasis on facilities and agencies that provide services to older adults. The program will prepare graduates to build and lead teams, manage operations and guide analytical decision-making, implementing value-based care strategies that are guided by data and compassion. By including both campus immersion sessions and a capstone project, the program will provide networking opportunities and real-world experience.

The MHA program has been designed to include the Graduate Certificate in Gerontology (44 units), but can also be completed without the certificate ( 41 units).

Graduate Certificate in Gerontology

The Graduate Certificate in Gerontology will offer students the preparation to ensure that older adults  receive the care and dignity they deserve through the management of healthcare resources, facilities and agencies that provide services to the aging population. The program will prepare graduates to build and lead teams, manage operations and guide analytical decision-making, implementing value-based care strategies that are guided by data and compassion.

The Graduate Certificate in Gerontology can be completed as part of the MHA program or as a stand alone certificate.*
