Sigma Theta Tau International/Gamma Tau at-Large

Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) is an international nursing organization that was founded in 1922 and has over 100,000 members around the world! Our regional STTI chapter, Gamma Tau at-Large was formed in 1978, and has 500 members. Gamma Tau at-Large (GTAL) is comprised of CSU Channel Islands, CSU Northridge, UCLA Nursing Program and UCLA Medical Center. STTI and GTAL’s vision is providing connection and empowerment of nurses to impact health care globally.

Membership in GTAL/STTI is through invitation only. Graduates of the CSUCI nursing students along with community nurse leaders are invited annually to become members of GTAL/STTI, usually in the final year of academic programs. Those who accept the invitation are inducted and acknowledged during an induction ceremony and given a certificate and cord.

If extended an invitation, we hope you join! For more information, click on the links below for more information.
