General Registration

Begins October 24, 2022
Matriculated students (students admitted to and enrolled in any CI degree/credential/certificate program, in good academic standing in the Fall of 2022, (and who did not graduate in Fall 2022). For details about self-service, please visit Records and Registration.

Non-matriculated students (those who are not admitted to or enrolled in a degree program at CSU Channel Islands) may enroll in Winter Session - Online courses starting October 24, 2022. To begin the registration process, please click the blue button below and complete the online form. Two business days are required for us to create or update your student record. Former CI students may log into myCI and register using their existing Dolphin name and password as soon as the record is updated. New students will receive a new user email two business days after their new student record is created. The email contains information concerning myCI account activation and other student electronic services. Payment will be made through the myCI portal.

For non-matriculated CI students only – intent forms accepted 10/17/22 – 12/15/22

Payment in full for self-service enrollments is due by end of day Thursday, December 15, 2022.  Students who have not paid for classes by the deadline may be dropped. For students enrolling after the above due date, payment in full will be due immediately.

Due to the brief and intensive nature of Winter Session - Online, no registrations will be accepted after December 16, 2022.

*Some courses require the approval of the instructor or completion of prerequisites.  Please see the CI catalog for details.   Formal admission to the University is not required to enroll in courses in the Winter Session, and conversely enrolling in does not constitute or ensure regular admission to the University.
