Bridge ADN to BSN and RN to BSN are for individuals who are new or soon to graduate ADN students from a local Community College or individuals who hold their RN license and would like to obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Program applicants are required to meet all pre-requisites and it is recommended that prior to admission that applicant be general education (GE) certified.

BSN Summer JumpStart Program

Get a head start on your BSN while completing your ADN. The BSN Summer JumpStart Program allows ADN students to take select BSN courses during the summer through Extended University. Earn credit toward your BSN and receive priority consideration for admission to the ADN/RN to BSN program (after meeting all admission requirements).

Start Your BSN Early While Completing Your ADN

• Open to students currently enrolled in a California ADN program
• Take BSN courses during the summer (online, asynchronous)
• Choose from:
  • NRS 352 – Health Promotion & Patient Education Strategies
  • NRS 310 – Transitions to Professional Nursing Practice
• Earn credit toward your BSN upon admission
• Receive priority consideration for ADN/RN to BSN admission (with completed requirements)
• Reduce time to BSN completion
