Curriculum Team
The Curriculum Team reviews the course proposals and recommends the instructors for each term. Input from many perspectives is important as we select interesting classes that draw new and returning OLLI students. Team members are always on the lookout for new and stimulating instructors – especially locally for our in-person classes.
Events Team
The Events Team offers fun activities outside the classroom - both locally and far away. Want a walking tour of Ventura or a visit to the Gibbon Conservation Center? How about a personal tour of Getty Villa or trip to Iceland? We do that! Want an OLLI book club or gastronomic gathering? Almost anything legal is possible.
Finance Team
The Finance Team watches our OLLI finances and proposes grant applications to OLLI National. Helping the staff prepare financial reports provides great insights into our OLLI program and its future. You can even help guide our generous OLLI members to financially support our wonderful OLLI program.
Membership Team
The Membership Team is the lifeblood on OLLI. You can share your enthusiasm by telling others about the fun and value of OLLI classes or events. Tabling at local Health Fairs, you meet people who are yearning for social connections or intellectual stimulation. OLLI helps people stay vibrant. Submitting OLLI info to local newspapers, posting on Next Door, or distributing OLLI catalogs reaches out to grow our community.
Communication Team
The Communications Team produces our Newsletters to keep OLLI members informed. You can interview OLLI members or instructors - - fascinating stuff. Help design a social media campaign to attract new OLLI member. Like taking photos? We need photos from classes, events and travel.
Volunteer Team

Leadership and Advisory Boards
New and longtime members are invited to join the Leadership and Advisory Boards. This is an opportunity to use your talents, and contribute to the success if the OLLI program at CSUCI. These Teams advise in establishing policies, practices and guidelines for the plans and activities of OLLI.
