Here is a step by step guide on what to do next to become a Dolphin with CSU Channel Islands Extended University!
Steps to Join the CI Dolphin Pod!
Step 1: Required Documentation
Submit all required application documents and/or transcripts to be reviewed for admission. Check your email for instructions and/or updates.
Step 2: Activate your myCI account
Once you receive your Dolphin Name and Dolphin ID via email Activate your Dolphin Account. This will grant you access to your student portal.
Step 3: Intent To Enroll
To accept your offer of admission, check your email for the link to submit the $250 non-refundable payment. The payment will be applied to your first semester tuition.
Step 4: Financial Aid
School code: (039803) Complete FAFSA for financial aid, if needed. Check CI Records for any Financial Aid requirements listed on your "To Do" list. For questions email joanna.rivas@csuci.edu.
Step 5: Initial Advising
Get to know your program director and roadmap to plan your class schedule for upcoming semesters. Contact your program director for specific questions about the program or course roadmaps.
Step 6: Register for Classes
During open registration, login to CI Records through myCI to register. Check your email or text for important dates for open registration (Nov 12th for spring 2025), fees, and drop deadlines.
Step 7: New Student Orientation
Be sure to save the date two weeks prior to the semester start for mandatory orientation via Zoom. Check your email closer to the semester to RSVP and start connecting with fellow Dolphins!
Step 8: Let your Adventure Begin!
