Visiting Students

Intent to Enroll for Summer 2023 will be available beginning March 6, 2023

An Intent to Enroll is required if you are:

• Working towards reinstatement
• An incoming CI Fall/Spring freshmen or transfer student
• A community member seeking professional or personal development
• Visiting from another campus
• Returning to CI after being away for two or more semesters
• Other non-matriculated (those who are not currently active in a degree program at CSU Channel Islands)

Steps for Registration

• If you are returning to CI or working towards reinstatement:
  1. Complete the intent to enroll (available March 06, 2023-July 06, 2023)
  2. Wait 3-5 business days for confirmation email stating your account has been reactivated
  3. Enroll using myCI
     • Please visit the Registrars webpage for helpful enrollment tutorials
     • Having trouble with your username or password? Please visit Information Technology Services
• If you are enrolling at CI for the first time:
  1. Complete the intent to enroll (available March 6, 2023-July 2023)
  2. Wait 3-5 business days for confirmation email stating your account has been activated
  3. Activate myCI when you receive your new user letter
  4. Enroll using myCI

Complete the Intent to Enroll

*Some courses require a permission number from the instructor or completion of prerequisites. Please see the CSUCI catalog for details. Formal admission to the University is not required to enroll in courses in the summer, and conversely enrolling in does not constitute or ensure regular admission to the University.
